Meet Dr. Shivam Patel

Dr. Shivam Patel is an associate doctor that joined Spring Hill Eyecare in 2024.  He was born and raised in Knoxville, TN. He graduated from Powell High School at the top of his class. Dr. Patel went on to attend The University of Tennessee-Knoxville, where he received his bachelor’s degree in microbiology with a minor in business administration.

Dr. Patel then went on to attend Southern College of Optometry, where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree. In his final year at SCO, he completed rotations at Volunteer Eyecare (Knoxville, TN) and Loden Vision Centers (Nashville, TN). Dr. Patel gained clinical experience in comprehensive eyecare and medical optometry in the areas of diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, glaucoma, retinal disease, and cataract and LASIK surgery pre and post-operative care.

In his free time, Dr. Patel is a passionate Tennessee Volunteers and Tennessee Titans fan. He loves to try new restaurants, travel, watching movies, and spend time with his family. Dr. Patel enjoys getting to know his patients and providing individualized patient care. He is thrilled to make Middle Tennessee his new home and serve the Spring Hill community.
